PSX controls don't seem to work within retroarch #2

Howdy,

I just got my A30 in today and I was super excited to play some PSX on it. Unfortunately, it seems that for some reason, the controls don't seem to work in game. Hotkeys work, and the controls work on other cores, but they specifically don't work for PSX for some reason.

Do you have any thoughts on why this might be?

Well this is awkward. I have no idea what I did, but I reopened the game to do some troubleshooting and the controls started working magically. No idea why.
