1 year ago SQL Server Browser is not needed. Try opening the SQL Management Studio and connect to the server. You should see the databases. Also .NET apps are able to connect to the SQL Server instance just fine. But you are right the instanc eis not browsable and you most likely have to fill in the connection string manually (machine_name\sql_instance).

Hello and thanks for the work you are doing! Although the installation of sql server ends successfully I can't access any database I'm not an expert but I think it's due to the fact that "sql server browser" crashes. even if I try to run it forcibly after a while it crashes.
