Hi leepee. I summarize what i've done.
You need to create an intranet library and save it in one of your cloud storage folders. Then simply copy your legacy library in the intranet library. Anytime you sync, all changes will be upload to your selected cloud storage folder. Now, you can open this intranet library in any other computer within your network and upload/download any changes.
There is a section in the old manual about intranet libraries.
Good luck!
Hi @vander1988! To be clear, once I have made the intranet lib and I want to copy in the legacy lib, am I copying from my appdata files to the appdata files of the new lib, or something different? It's quite hard to work out which library is which (I have 11 D: ) as they're all given random ID names...
Thanks for the help!
Oh, I realise now in the new intranet libs there is a copy from lib link, is that what I am to use?
Hi, not sure what i did, but I think that I just used the option inside qiqqa that says copy pdf to another library (i.e. your intranet library) from my legacy library (or something similar, my version is in spanish), then i simply deleted my old library in the app folder. Anyway, once I realize the existance of intranet libraries i just followed the instructions in the manual. Not sure how to cope with multiple libraries, sorry. Hope it helps!
Hey,
First up, love this tool and excited about what it can become under OS.
I am nearing the end of a PhD and have been using Qiqqa for my citations and document management. I noticed this project today, and installed the OS version. I now have put myself in a weird position - I have libraries on the web, I have them locally, but I can't change the way they sync.
Is there an accepted method for migration of the abandoned web libraries to locally synced storage (gdrive etc)? I feel like I've put myself in a vulnerable position as now all my changes are only local and I can't even log in...
Thanks for any help, and best of luck with this awesome project :)
