@GerHobbelt

Hi,

I am using MS Office 365, which version of InCite I should use?

Regards

Francis

I don't have Office 365 overhere so can't say if the Word plugin will work for that version.

If those don't work, try using the copy-to-clipboard option in the dropdown menu.

I've got the same issue... the registry keys that are available won't work for Microsoft 365 obviously, is there anyone out there who knows exactly what version needs to be specified?

I spend most of time in Linux systems so this registry stuff is less intuitive to me. But if you can point me in the direction I would need to find the version or key/value pairs for MS 365 I'd be happy to try and figure it out (I really like using InCite, but if I can't make it compatible I'll have to find an alternative... working with research articles with dozens of references, copy and pasting is just not an option).

As a quick follow-up to this, I tried on a computer with Office 2019 hoping InCite would recognize that at least, but no luck. As far as I can determine I don't have duplicate registry entries for Office, and it's listed as version 8.7 of the entry, for whatever that's worth.

Thanks in advance for anyone able to provide advice! Matt

I have also searched on Google and found that it should be a different Registry Entry for either 32 bit and 64 bit MS Word. The one for Word 2013 is 32 bit, so I think a new entry for 64 bit Word should be created. I am not sure how many people are still using 32-bit Office, but people around me are using 64 bit Office for years.

Created a separate issue for the 64-bit problem for previous Office versions. #337

Thanks for the heads-up about different registry keys for those Office versions.
