I have Activator and BTstack installed on 4.3.3 (and other versions). What
other tweaks do you have installed? Do you have a crash log (use e.g.
CrashReporter). Try removing BTstack to see if Preferences work again.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Somehow it started working. But unfortunately the
program isn't ideal for me because it disables the built-in functionality of
the Apple BT keyboard (and since brightness and volume aren't able to be mapped
in the program, I can't re-create that functionality manually). All I was
hoping to do was find a program that let me map additional functionality into
the keyboard, kind of like turning my Apple BT keyboard into a larger-sized
Zaggmate. Anyway I've already purchased the app, and will stay updated, so if
you end up adding those features I will more than happily download the app
again.

Cheers.

well. at least the Settings work.

technically, BTstack Keyboard doesn't "disable the built-in functionality". It
just doesn't support it, like, it doesn't break or prevents something on
purpose. k. makes no difference for your situation.

yes, adding support for the extra function keys is on the table for an update,
no ETA however. sorry.

Hi,

Thanks for your helpful replies on this. If you google around you'll see
there's a ton of people out there using the Apple BT keyboard who want to
customize it further (being able to map the Home button to the Esc key, for
example), but don't want to lose the brightness and volume keys. So from a
business stand-point there's a whole lot of demand that you could tap into with
this! Zagg was able to do this with the release of Zaggmate, but that keyboard
is tiny and not as enjoyable to use as the Apple keyboard. I for one would
gladly pay $10 if BTStack was able to accomplish this, and I'm sure there would
be many others. ;-)

Thanks again.
