Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Start bluetooth GPS unit. Connect BTStack to GPS Unit.
2.When asked for password enter pairing password.
3.Turn GPS unit off. Turn it back on. Connect BTStack to GPS unit.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Password prompt appears again. Have to enter password to connect to gps unit
every time. Password would only be asked once in previous version - the very
first time you connect to gps unit.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
BTStack GPS 1.6.1
iOs 4.3.3
IPod 3G

Please provide any additional information below.
This wasn't a problem on BTStack 1.5

Please attach /tmp/hci_dump.pklg of two consecutive connections. The link key
handling isn't done by BTstack GPS app, it's handled by the BTstack daemon.

sorry. didn't look at the files so far. Ok.. in none of the files is a
connection establishment. could you try again and just press the "disconnect"
button after establishing the connection?

no further information, link keys are stored by BTstack package and works
usually.
