Describe the bug impossible to move a tab to have multi display when superputty is not on the main screen (when we have 2 or more screens)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. open superputty et move it on the second (or third...) screen
  2. open 2 or more tabs
  3. try to move one of them under the others
  4. the cursor of the possible position cannot be reach
  5. move superputty on the main screen, and we can do it

superputty : 1.4.0.9 windows 10 putty : 0.78

thx Michel

Is there someone else who have the same trouble ?

tjbalaji commented 1 year ago

Yes, I have the same trouble. This problem occurs in my setup, which is:

  1. Primary monitor resolution is 3840x2400 scaling is 300% (Recommended is 250%)
  2. Secondary monitor resolution is 2560x1440 scaling is 125% (Recommended is 100%)

If the SuperPuTTY main window is resized to a much smaller size (roughly 1/10th of the screen size) and moved to the lower left corner as much as possible and then when the TABS is dragged with the mouse, I could see the docking guide icons shown somewhere much outside the SuperPUTTY window on the screen.

Attached is a snapshot as I see.

Workaround: I move the SuperPUTTY window to my primary display to make layout changes and then move it back to my secondary display.
