It'd be great if the extension could preload the page instead of loading it once the new tab is opened.
Something like, in Edge, Microsoft's default page is preloaded. This way, there's no delay in getting to the default page. It's almost instant.

Sorry, but this is not possible, as extensions are not in memory until the tab is opened.
