Unable to add a name starting with - #4

When I tried to add the name "-Ptest-", I got an error message regarding the name. According to the error message and the UG's specifications, this name should be valid (only contains alphanumeric characters and the '-' symbol, is not blank, and is within 80 characters), but the app does not allow it.
