I am guessing you are talking about the navigation bar? Not sure if I can fill that space since, I used some css tricks to hide the original button that is supposed to be there (usually 3 dots).
The navigation bar however should be scrollable since that is the default behavior. Adding more navigation bar items should help you.
A scrollable lovelace view is what HKI used to have, but it uses some nasty tricks to do it and it was buggy. You can however add lovelace swipes yourself by installing the component through HACS. I will probably not add it for the reasons mentioned above, but anyone is free to do so themselves. It is easy to install.
Yeah.. correct I meant the navigation bar. The bar is indeed scrollable but only by clicking the arrow left/right in my case. Not by dragging/sliding a menu-item to left/right.
It should be scrollable though, maybe the amount of menu items is too little. I find it weird you have chevrons at all, since they should be hidden (to save space)

This is what happens when I hold a menu-item and slide it to left on my iPhone. The whole screen/app moves not just the menu items :-(
In the browser (safari/iPhone) I can slide the menu, although the chevrons are also visible.
Ah yeah iPhones tend to do that... I think it is scrollable but you simply cant touch it since it is too low to the bottom (I remembered why I only use menu/Home in the navigation bar 🤣).
I am not sure if you can turn off that gesture in iOS nowadays, I do remember that it wasn't possible. Since I don't have any swipe based iPhone anymore I can't test it for you to be certain.
You could try this: put your nav bar at the top, and try to scroll (this change should be instant and is done in the HKI menu). If you can scroll now, then you know what is causing it. The bar at the bottom...
I could make the navigation bar larger, (higher) which would mitigate your problem but especially on smaller phones this would use up too much space. Please check if you can turn the multitask gesture off per app. As this would solve your problem.

On top the menu sliding works.
The Facebook app has also buttons on the bottom without this issue so there’s is a solution for this. But it’s more for the HA app developers I think.
Thx for clarifying this.
So I”ll close this issue.
Not sure if it's a bug or FR but on my iPhone the menu could be a bit wider. There's room on the right side.
Would be nice if you could slide the menu to left/right by just sliding a menu item to left/right. Or... even slide the whole view to left/right to get another view? Just asking :-)
