Somewhat akin to a mini and self-hosted version of mymind.
Why?
Sometimes what we are looking for is something we encountered in the past. A search engine like Google may not find it as the search space is too big. Having the search space be our history can pin it down better.
Some Details
The application would save articles, text snippets, images, videos that the user encounters during their browsing. As to what to "save", this can be on a spectrum from having the user explicitly mark it (essentially bookmarking) to the application continuously (possibly in a smart way i.e. with some filtering) capturing all/most of the data coming the user's way.
The user would then be able to search through that archive/history box when they want/need.
