Hello,

I want to share my tabs between the computer at home and computer at work. I want to see the same tab groups at both computers. I can see the other computers bookmarks from Bookmarks Menu->Other Bookmarks->Tabs to Bookmark Groups. There are two Tabs to Bookmark Groups in here, one is home one is work. But, I cannot see it from the Tabs to Bookmark Groups icon at the toolbar. Is there a way to do that?

Hi @efeyitim ,

I'm not the TTBG Dev, but hope I can answer your question.

In Firefox you can share your bookmarks by using the "Sync" function (which allows you to have the same Firefox profile at home, work, mobile or at any device you use). Here is a general explanation: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-sync-my-computer If you need more help with Sync, please google "Firefox Sync", and you'll see tons of tutorials and videos.

If you're not familiar with the Sync function, I suggest in the beginning to start with a simple test. Please create a vanilla Firefox profile in your desktop, and another vanilla profile in your mobile. Sync both profiles. Play around making changes and synchronizing. That's all.

That said, and now specifically with regards to TTBG, be sure that at "Bookmarks" you have just one folder named "Tabs to Bookmark Groups" (and inside it, just one bookmark named "Tabs to Bookmark Groups (Marker)"). You can cut/paste this TTBG folder/marker, but please remember TTBG works with just one TTBG folder/marker. If by accident you have more than one folder ("Tabs to Bookmark Groups") + more than one marker ("Tabs to Bookmark Groups (Marker)"), please keep just one TTBG folder/marker, and manually delete the other copies. Before deleting the extra folder/marker, be sure you're keeping all the bookmarked tabs you use/need/want.

This kind of accident may happen, for example, when the TTBG folder/marker is manually copied/pasted in same device, creating a conflict for TTBG because the add-on works only with a single TTBG folder/marker. Worse, if an user copied/pasted the TTBG folder/marker in one device, and he synchronized the Firefox profile with other devices, then this accident will appear on all synchronized devices. To avoid that, simple, always keep only one TTBG folder/marker (before deleting the extra folder/marker, be sure you're keeping all the bookmarked tabs you use/need/want).

If my answer solved your question, please close the issue. But if you still have questions, please wait the Dev (@jingyu9575 ) answer.

Cheers
