ccs에 발표할 결과에 대해서 공유하는 이슈입니다. 크게 피규어 기준으로 작성해보겠습니다. 결과를 보시고 코멘트 주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.

Fig 1. Similarity Network 구축 후, backbone 추출 image

위의 식으로 전체적인 트렌드를 제외하고, 상대적으로 가까운 나라를 추출 위의 값은 1 근처의 값을 가지며, 특정 문턱값 이상의 링크를 선택. 문턱값은 전체 네트워크가 하나의 weakly connected component로 묶이는 값을 사용

이 결과에서 결정해야 할 것은 다음과 같습니다

  1. 각 클러스터들의 이름을 정하기
  2. 지리적 특성 피규어에 가이드라인 그리기 (거리를 가늠하기 쉽게)

Fig 3. 요인 분석한 결과입니다. 크게는 물리적 거리, 강한형태의 지식이동 (Collaboration) 약한형태의 지식이동 (Citation) 실제 soft power의 이동 (유학생) 으로 나누어 져있습니다.

Fig 4. 영향 분석 물론 특허도 결과를 뽑긴하였으나, 좀 중복되는 것 같아 메인피규에서는 제거하려고 합니다. (appendix)

물리적 거리 < 약한형태의 지식이동 (Citation) < 실제 soft power의 이동 (유학생) < 강한형태의 지식이동 (Collaboration) 으로 결론을 낼 수 있습니다.

어제 박사님과 이야기한 결과 다음과 같은 방향으로 가는 것이 어떤지를 이야기했습니다.

  1. 위키는 Contemporary knowledge structure을 나타낸다.
  2. 인터넷 시기 이전의 지식의 이동은 physical contact를 통해 이루어졌다 (이 부분은 아마 사회학 쪽에 결과가 많을 것으로 생각됩니다.)
  3. 실제로 결과에서도 물리적 거리 < 약한형태의 지식이동 (Citation) < 실제 soft power의 이동 (유학생) < 강한형태의 지식이동 (Collaboration)로 나타난다. Contemporary knowledge structure는 physical한 distance가 아닌 다른 요인으로 결정된다.
  4. 저자들이 모두 동의를 한다면, 관련 연구를 하시는 유명하신분(?)께 보여드리고 논문에 힘을 더하는게 어떤지?

각 클러스터들의 이름을 정하기

코드 - 언어 매칭테이블을 같이 주셔야 의견을 내기가 좋을 것 같습니다.

지리적 특성 피규어에 가이드라인 그리기 (거리를 가늠하기 쉽게)

미팅때도 말씀드렸지만 싱가폴이니 싱가폴 기준으로 ? 아니면 흔히 사람들이 익숙하게 아는 위치로?

학회 발표가 아니라, 본 논문을 이야기하시는 거죠? 유명하신 분 후보는 누가 있으려나요?

기여하신 정도에 따라 다르겠지만, 저는... 저자 수가 많아지는 것에 그리 큰 저항감이 없는지라, 조금이라도 기여해주실 분이 더 있으면 대환영입니다.

저도 저자 늘어나는 자체는 큰 저항감은 없습니다만... 후보가 잘 떠오르진 않네요... ^^;;

코드 - 언어 매칭테이블을 작성중입니다. 간단히 패턴을 보면 하늘색은 서유럽에 분포한 언어들 보라색은 동유럽에 분포한 언어들 초록색은 동유럽 중에 러시어와 근접한 언어들 (이게 제일 애매합니다) 그리고 연두색은 동남아시아 정도로 이야기 할 수 있을 것 같습니다.

주황색 클러스터들이 뒤의 흐름 - 지리적 요소 이외의 요소들을 살펴본 이유가 될 것 같습니다.

전체적으로 많이 깔끔해졌네요. 다만 약간 더 친절했으면 싶습니다.
