Overview

The Movie Collection Manager is a Java-based desktop application designed to help users catalog, rate, review, and track their personal movie collections. This tool aims to provide an easy-to-use interface for managing movie libraries, including features for lending physical media.

Objectives

1. Develop a user-friendly GUI for managing movie collections
2. Implement functionality to add, remove, and edit movie entries
3. Allow users to rate and review movies
4. Provide a system for tracking lent movies
5. Ensure data persistence across application sessions

Features

• Add new movies with title, rating, and review
• View a list of all movies in the collection
• Remove movies from the collection
• Rate and review movies
• Track lending of physical media (who borrowed which movie)
• Save and load the movie collection using serialization
