Same problem, form my machine i see Could not HEAD 'https://jitpack.io/{library_used} Received status code 521 from server

It's necessary to think if there is another basket to save our eggs. Maybe download all depenceices to localhost will be the best choice.
I will continue the tradition and leave here a "Same here" comment as well.

If you have a successful building before and hasn't add any new depencice yet, just turn on the offline mode of gradle then you can build you app again.

Edit: That's just my opinion, please don't take that as a fact. However, the website showing "All systems operational" is a fact.

as cy745 commented, we can use offline mode for now.
If you have a successful building before and hasn't add any new depencice yet, just turn on the offline mode of gradle then you can build you app again.

Does the project build on your machine with the same commands (e.g. ./gradlew install) ?
What error are you seeing? Could not resolve all files for configuration ':app:prodReleaseRuntimeClasspath'.
