VPN might have worked because of some caching somewhere, not an actual solution.

@jitpack-io can you check this issue?
so many libraries depend on this and nobody from @jitpack-io responded in more than 6 hours that it exists π

yeah.same here
It's slightly unacceptable that it's been down for 6+ hours. Can you imagine if NPM was down for this length of time?

Yes I agree. Even a status update, and an estimated time of resolution from @jitpack-io would be very helpful so that we can plan our time around this outage.
+1 . Cant release my builds (( VPN doesn't help for me

These issues with Jitpack are not unusual. Every month or so there is a day that our android builds are unable to finish and go into QA testing because of instabilities with Jitpack being unable to resolve dependencies.
And it's usually 10+ hours since the first comment pointing this that the issue finally gets resolved.
Something should be done about this. Is there any way the community can help? This situation cannot stay like this, or else every time it happens there will be new issues and comments about it, and devs waiting many hours for it to work again.
can anyone suggest me a quick way to setup build.gradle to publish library to maven central? P.S. I have a sonatype account, but I mostly use maven instead of gradle. I know how this is done in maven, but now the task is to fork the open source of the android library and upload it to maven central.

It is necessary to abandon the jitpack en masse. Also, everyone needs to transfer the libraries to maven central.
Perhaps then something will change, but I doubt it.
this issue has been created more than 7 hours ,and nobody in the team responses.
Try to exclude failed package - it works for me
maven { url "https://jitpack.io/"
content {
excludeGroupByRegex("com.package.*")
}
}
I cannot find anyone on LinkedIn that works on this project, only the CEO. This is a one-man job?

People! I managed to find a company that gave us a server for the maven repository. Thanks https://greywebs.com/ ! I will now transfer the libraries from the jitpack to the repository on the server that they gave me. So far, everything is added by hand, but if it is in demand, I will make a full-fledged repository. If someone urgently needs to make the library available in the project - write me a link to the repository where you can download the compiled library.

Folks, @ZooMMaX is promoting a VPN affiliated to that company right here as if it were his own, please be careful.
which country are the teams in?are they sleeping now?
Does anyone know who is running jitpack? Can I trust them?

That's Jetpack, not Jitpack.

Are you sure this is the correct owner? I ask this because there is a Jitpack and a Jetpack, which seem to be about different things.
https://github.com/jitpack-io (our case) https://github.com/jetpack-io (different repos? π€)

Yes, we do have vpn, it is available on GooglePlay, but this is not the main activity of the company. The main thing is vps hosting. I am also an android vpn app developer.
p.s. Thanks to @jitpack-io for getting us up and running

This is a different company, please remote to avoid any problem
Removed, whoops!
maybe email jitpack@jitpack.io
We had everything available on our own nexus repository, with exception of 1 specific version of a library which is now holding our builds hostage.

Are there any Jitpack analogs?

They've been so unstable lately, and I'm looking for a replacement.

The website is back online: https://jitpack.io/
Going to try a new build and see how it goes.

Yep, this is super misleading. However, if we try to access a url from a dependency that uses Jitpack, it fails. For example: https://jitpack.io/com/mapbox/maps/android/10.3.0/android-10.3.0.pom
It's not a good sign when the company's "Pricing" page doesn't work. https://jitpack.io/private#subscribe
I think it's just a CloudFlare copy that is up at the moment.

Exactly, Status has been online for a large portion of the day. It is really misleading, Seems like the failure is not related to the Site being operational.
