harddisk recommendation a little bit too generous #380

at https://jitsi.github.io/handbook/docs/devops-guide/devops-guide-requirements there is this statement:

"Disk: unless you are doing heavy logging or have very specific needs, you can get away with 250 Gbytes of standard hard disk. SSD are more a nice to have than a necessity."

why is 250 GB recommended when debian + jitsi installation only uses <3gb of harddisk space ?

mind, that people who specify a server or jitsi VM unnecessarily will buy a larger disk or size a larger virtual disk.

on our virtualization server, one guy setup jitsi according to recommendation and now i have a unnecessarily large VM. as we know, if you use virtualization, you want things as slim as possible.

recommending 250gb as default is a waste of ressources and this could be avoided.

yes, you will need the diskspace if you need to record video, but as that is not enabled by default and not needed by many people, disk/hdd sizing should depend on recording need and not by the need of harddisk industries pursuit of profit

please consider changing documentation accordingly
