Jibri Recording Fails to Start (X-post from jitsi-docker) #260

Open maltokyo opened 4 years ago

maltokyo commented 4 years ago

Description

In the docker-version of Jibri, this is happening..
https://github.com/jitsi/docker-jitsi-meet/issues/381 I just thought I would ask here also, as it could be a non-docker thing, and just jibri related.

It is the same error as here, but not sure what I could do to fix hosts file (as it is docker), and wondering if anyone would have some hints? https://community.jitsi.org/t/failed-to-read-the-localstorage-property/16743/14

Environment details

Running on Docker with host being a Debian Buster (latest updates applied) VPS.

nstoeckigt commented 4 years ago

unfortunately this is still an issue in the latest docker image.

Here is my log:

I failed to configure the chrome browser inside the container to 'acceptInsecureCerts'.

Any progress here?

Following some hints I changed all occurrences (docker-compose, config.js, jitsimeet.env) of 'meet.jitsi' to my public domain 'jitsi-test.domain.tld' providing 'meet.jitsi' as an alias.

e.g.

    networks:
      jitsi-test.domain.tld:
        aliases:
        - meet.jitsi
        - xmpp.meet.jitsi
        - xmpp.jitsi-test.domain.tld

but this doesn't work [jibri-log]
