Android example shows black screen #126

The Android example shows a black screen after joining the room on an Android 12 / API level 31 emulator.

Steps to reproduce

Expected result Successfully joined

Actual result A black screen is shown

See screenshot for an example on a Pixel 5 - API level 31 emulator.

There are a couple of warning logs, but no errors occur:

@thomato Did you fix this pblm? I am facing the same.

I just pushed a fix necessary for target API 31 please pull from master and give it a try. This was on the Java sample.

I wonder if it's an emulator issue, I tested yesterday on a real Android 12(L beta) device with no issues.

I just tested a Pixel 3a XL emulator with API 31 and it works just fine.
