I was viewing Boromir's character screen when I saw his gold drop negative at the same time as he gained the "Owns a Flagship" character modifier. Looking at the event script, there are show_as_unavailable blocks, but no trigger blocks for the ship choices. As far as I can tell from looking at vanilla events and searching the CK3 Mod Coop Discord, show_as_unavailable is only used in conjunction with a trigger. The trigger sets what is required to make the option available, then the show_as_unavailable makes the option show up greyed out instead of not appearing at all. I confirmed that the options aren't being greyed out with Denethor in the second screenshot.
