The event sauron.2000 triggered by Sauron's Invade Gondor decision targets k_anorien for the final_battle_mordor_cb, without checking if that kingdom is part of Gondor/Reunited Kingdom. It is possible for the kingdom to be taken by Mordor with other CBs before taking the decision (this occurred several times in my Mordor balance testing). In such a situation, the AI keeps taking the decision when it meets the requirements and having the war immediately invalidate. Then there is no way for the Gondor/RK titles to be destroyed by Mordor.
Maybe the CB target could be chosen more dynamically to allow Mordor to use the decision even if they take Anorien another way? For instance, the event could choose a random de jure kingdom of Gondor that neighbors Mordor, and set that title as the CB target.
Alternatively, if Anorien is always meant to be the target, Mordor could be blocked from using kingdom-tier holy wars for that specific title.
