Changing LNP settings requires a working data connection, otherwise can't get past error dialogs. #17

=================================
Some information about your configuration...
ROM version: 1.3.1
Full wipe or update (and from which version)?: Update from before.
LNP version: 1.8.8

If 2G/3G data is off, or not available, or background data is turned off.
Because LNP always checks for update ROM when it starts, it goes into endless
popup dialog and can't change any settings like softkey or touchscreen
sensitivity.

Changing LNP settings should not depend on having a data connection available.

I believe it's a feature of LNP right now to automatically check for updates
when it starts up. There should be a toggle switch, and default it to off (do
not automatically check for updates). Once it tries to check for updates, it
seems to launch Market app and that's where the dialogs appear and have a hard
time cancelling out if there's no data connection available.
