My C implementation which was coded a year before your version: https://github.com/ValdikSS/sophos-deobfuscation-tool Releases page has Linux and Windows compiled binaries.

I just received word from jjc224's family. He is on life support after receiving first degree burns from this issue.

Many thanks @DanielWood for the kind words. I just got out of the coma and am doing okay. It hurts to type with these burns, so I'll leave it here. Cheers.

Oh, come on, it's always nice to have the alternative implementation, and I've posted it just for that. No need to be that salty. Your version has nice algo writeup.
