also there is new MSI BIOS update to fix CVE-2024-36877 but am now wondering does it also patch CVE-2023-31315 ? https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MEG-B550-UNIFY/support

basically am confused if one same vulnerability is registered under two different numbers CVE-2023-31315 AND CVE-2024-36877

I think they are different vulnerabilities. CVE-2023-31315 is specific to AMD chipsets and CVE-2024-36877 is specific to MSI Intel chipsets.
