ROS 2 control stack for Dobot Magician has been tested for ROS 2 Humble Hawksbill (Ubuntu 22.04). I can't guarantee that it will work without a problem with ROS 2 Jazzy Jalisco on Ubuntu 24.04. Please attach logs from terminal, so I could take a closer look on this issue.
I have dobot magician and I am working with ROS2 Jazzy Jalisco on Ubuntu 24.04 . All the packages are installed properly and workspace is configured colcon also runs fine. I can also find my device on usb lists. But bringup python file gets stuck. It says trajectory validation service not available waiting again .. it is related to PTP_server1/dobot_PTP_server/DOBOT_PTP.launch.py-7
