I just add the manual entry to the OpenCore.efi file from the BIOS, that's why. If you want to auto boot just generate the respective BootX64.efi file and put it in the BOOT folder.

I'm not sure I understand. What do you do in BIOS exactly?
and also why isn't there a com.apple.recovery.boot folder? Thanks a lot for your time I'm just trying to understand
BIOS -> Boot Configuration -> Add Entry -> EFI\OC\OpenCore.efi
regarding the folder structure, it's probably worth taking a look here to better understand how this works (and how you can adjust your own EFI partition): https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/installer-guide/opencore-efi.html
ok i get it thanks. last thing: on the clover boot menu, i press on fn + f8 to go in clamshell mode but it doesnt seem to work? I get sent to bit locker recovery. I am connected to an external screen through usb-c.
