Very serious performance decrease when anything but 100% is used. #26

It is the only application of this type that works for me on a thinkpad with an external screen on the fedora system (rest ddcutil extensions I've found doesn't work)

However, using any value other than 100% causes an incredible drop in performance, moving the cursor becomes difficult.

Other applications of this type on the same hardware but other operating systems (Monitorian, MonitorControl) work fine without affecting the performance of the computer.

Can I ask for any recommendations?

For me this is the best because if it works well for those who use ddcutil, or they don't have a very low brightness level, or it doesn't recognize all the monitors, I think the sacrifice of using this extension for it to work well lowers performance.
