nf90io not available in standard MITgcm? #1

Hi Jody, I would like to run this example 'as is' but I can't figure out how to install the package 'nf90io'. I am reverting to mnc for now. Are there usage instructions for nf90io somewhere? Thanks, Jesse

It’s in the fork I have of mitgcm. I forget which pr it is but it’s in the pr list for the mitgcm.

Hi Jody,

thanks for sharing this example. I am new to MITgcm and I would like to run this case as a start point towards modeling an internal hydraulic jump. I cloned both your main MITgcm repository and this small repository. At first, 'genmake2' and 'make depend' seemed OK, but several syntax errors popped up after I typed 'make', such as:

(7): error #5078: Unrecognized token '|' skipped | SUBROUTINE DEBUG_CALL | ------^ There are more syntax errors like this. I can't figure out the issue. Are there any clues? Thanks very much. Yang

No idea. A longer error message indicating the file thats giving you trouble might help.
