Still happening? Make no sense.

The node <packaging>pom</packaging>
is being removed somewhere
@sclorng Not sure where you got that from, but it looks fine in Maven Central.

Having the same problem right now, after it worked already for around half a year.
Errors occurred while building effective model from /Users/thomasbruckmann/.gradle/caches/modules-2/files-2.1/com.github.jknack/handlebars/4.3.0/f26ce03681940de02a1776b6982fe8f60252b5cd/handlebars-4.3.0.pom: Invalid packaging for parent POM com.github.jknack:handlebars.java:4.3.0, must be "pom" but is "jar" in com.github.jknack:handlebars.java:4.3.0
Handlebars is integrated via
testImplementation("org.springframework.cloud:spring-cloud-starter-contract-stub-runner:4.1.4")
Using gradle 8.7, does someone has a solution for that?
Hi,
I think there is a problem with the maven packaging of the
handlebars
because when I define the followingpom.xml
I have someWARNING
in the maven output:When running
mvn dependency:tree
and any other commands, I have theWARNING
you see in the log.If I run it in debug mode, I have the following output:
The interesting part is here:
This is very annoying to have this kind of WARNING or ERROR in every project with
handlebars
as a dependencies or transitive dependencies (in my case, with wiremock). Thanks for your help
