Phone app hangs in 'Synchronizing' loop - Server says 'Connected' #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Setup: Winamp (w/ remotecontrol plugin), remotecontrol app running
1. minimize app on the phone (_not_ close via 'Back'-Button)
2. deactivate Wifi
3. reactivate Wife
4. maximize app

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

App shows 'Synchronizing", while server just says 'Connected'. Restarting the
server breaks this loop.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

PC:
Windows 7 32 Bit Ultimate
Winamp 5.6
Remotecontrol plugin 0.93

Phone:
Nexus S Android 2.3.3

Please provide any additional information below.

The steps to reproduce are kind of senseless, but are a more safe way, then to
throw the phone out of the window (get out of wifi range) :-)

I don't know, if there's a more comfortable way, but my idea would be, to let
the app send regularly 'alive' pakets. The server notes the time when the last
'alive' paket arrived and after a certain time w/o new pakets automaticly
restarts the server.

Letting software crash runs in my family :-D

Best wishes
Alex

Just updated the app to 0.925
The synch loop is still there.

Hi,

that's a really good point! I've activated keep-alive-messages directly inside
the TCP protocol. See version 0.94 in the downloads.

I'm glad about every feedback from you because I've released the Winamp plugin
and the app just 4 days ago ;) so thanks for your comments!

Best wishes
Martin
