Hi @yoyurec,
the short answer: No, sorry.
The long version: I already considered creating a Gulp version, and probably I'll do it one day. However, I never worked with Gulp so far (not to talk about creating modules for it), so in fact I have no idea. Also, I have to work on iconizr in my so called "spare time" (haha, what is this really?), and when I look to the next future, I don't see any time left for a Gulp version within the next few months at least. Before creating a Gulp version I will need to get the (original) PHP-CLI version to the same level as the Node / Grunt version, and I'll definitely need to revamp the website and docs.
Nevertheless, I'll keep this issue open as a reminder to myself.
Cheers, Joschi
Hi @yoyurec,
I know it's been a long time, but ... just wanted to let you know that I'll start rewriting iconizr from scratch during the next days and then there will be a Gulp version as well (just as I did it for svg-sprite a couple of days ago). Besides that, Happy New Year! :)
Cheers, Joschi
Sounds good! happy NY! :santa:
@jkphl Hows the Gulp port coming? :) Looking forward to using it in our framework
never )))
@lukewhitehouse @yoyurec I'm very sorry guys, but this is all due to my extreme workload. We moved to a new office in April, we are drowning in complex long-term projects and at some point my daughter wants to meet me as well. As soon as I see the chance to pursue my side projects, I will do.
In the meantime, a new version of node-iconizr is available in the dev-branch, as is a new grunt-iconizr. However, there's no proper documentation yet (as this is about the most time consuming part) and also the Gulp port is still to be done.
I do my very best, but as this is an absolute side project, there are other tasks with higher priority at the moment.
@jkphl completely understand, no reason to apologise. There's more important things in the world than this, take it easy :)
:+1:
Is there any chance to see gulp version of this tool soon?
