backup apps list / settings? #219

i'm currently switching between different unlauncher versions - to test and confirm some bug And I just realized that there's no option to backup/save the apps shortlist and other settings I searched the issues for backup/save and found nothing am I correct that there's no such option? seems like something that would be useful?

Sadly, no. There is no way currently to export settings (though, just to be clear for anyone reading this in the future) settings for a particular device should be preserved during the normal upgrade process. It is just if you are completely uninstalling and re-installing the app or if you are switching devices, there is no way to migrate data. Definitely a feature I would like to have (though for the sake of simplicity, it would probably be best to finish migrating everything to the Proto datastore first...).
