Does not recognise D7000 #233

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I'm currently trying to run this app on my rooted S2 running Omni ROM
but DSLR dashboard is not recognising camera. Phone recognised USB flash drive,
mouse etc but don't get any popup when camera is connected.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
I've tried USB Host checker which shows USB Host not found but I'm able to
connect mouse, flash drive etc

I've changed couple of otg cables but none are working. I used to have this
apps beta version which worked fine using the same otg but later during reset I
lost this app n stopped using. when running USB Host controller app it says
"USB Host driver not found" but says 'USB Host active'... Not sure if this is d
issue

Tested with my S2 running Omni 20140324 and works.
Do you get a dialog with the list of application that support the DSLR when you
connect and turn on your camera?

No, I'm not getting any list of application that support the DSLR when I
connect and turn on my camera. Did u check the log cat attached, can you find
out anything from there. I'm using the OMNIROM from 20140321 (Nightly, If you
can send the latest OMNIROM link, I can use the same to flash it again & try.
Appreciate your help.

If you don't get the dialog that means the phone has no USB host or you set a
default application when a DSLR camera is attached with USB.
Here is the latest Omni for I9100 : http://dl.omnirom.org/i9100/
I use the Omni rom update function.
From logcat I don't see anything.
