-First, I'd like to say this program seems fantastic. Previously I had used
coretemp, but this one looks much nicer. I began noticing some odd problems
while playing DayZ recently though. While in-game, I would get intermittent
freezing for several seconds, sometimes 10 or more, on a roughly 30 second
repeating interval. By using resource monitor, I noticed during every freeze,
CPU usage dropped to 0% from 100% rapidly, disk activity spiked to 100%, yet no
data was being written, as if the HDD was just being spun around. Searched the
web high and low, updated drivers, scanned for viruses, tested ram, tested my
hdd, then luckily I stumbled across one small forum post on tomshardware where
someone stated "I had a problem like this on my desktop with temperature
polling software. Do you have anything like HWMonitor running?" Immediately
exited OHM, and the problem disappeared. Sad but true, I cannot use this
program due to some bug that is probably related to intermittent HDD polling.
