Flowblade is a great piece of software - thank-you.
Really dumb newbie questions. I main use flowblade to make simple edits, cutting out sections of video. But I think my method is inefficient:
use mouse to click on time-line
use X key to indicate to cut
use mouse to select section to cut
use keyboard delete key to cut
(i) Can the above be improved?
(ii) When I do the above, the timeline marker stays in same place, but the timeline is changed. Instead I want the timeline marker to snap back to the place I originally cut (with x), so I can play from my last edit point. (At the moment, I have to go back to find the last edit point).

I hope I've explained it clearly enough.
Thanks
