Flowblade crashes on startup

Please include the following information. 1) Flowblade version: 1.16 2) MLT version: 6.5.0 3) Your distribution: Ubuntu 17.10 Studio

Flowblade doesn't fully startup, the UI never appears, it runs, hits an error and then ends.

The last part seems to be where the problem lies; I'm note entirely sure what it's related to (I have a feeling it could be FFmpeg, but I could be wrong)
