Names do not support "/" and "@" #3

Open jloh02 opened 1 week ago

jloh02 commented 1 week ago

Names currently do not support "/" and "@" and are not under planned enhancements. The term "alphanumeric" may not be sufficiently clear to a who attempts to add their birth name but is unaware that "/" should not be allowed in name. Eventually, users may work around by removing this "/" and thus categorized as medium severity.

The 'Original' Bug

[The team marked this bug as a duplicate of the following bug]

"/" symbol is not allowed in name

/ is not allowed to be include in a person's name. Although this is stated in the user guide that name only accept alphanumeric and spaces, but this could be a problem if a person's name contains s/o which is a legal name for many people.
