I can't get mine to work. I tried it on a fresh install. Installed correctly and boots from the USB clover drive correctly. But once I copied the EFI folder to the hard drive and isntalled the kexts to L/E it won't boot. I did the same thing I did for Mojave but something is different with Catalina since the same method doesn't seem to work.
Can't figure it out. Going back to Mojave for now. I tried updating clover, updating some of the kexts, etc. but I don't think I have the knowledge to figure out why it doesn't work. I can install Catalina and use it when booting from the bootloader on the USB drive. However, once I install the EFI to hard drive and put the kexts in L/E/, it won't boot.
Given Catalina is having a lot of bugs right now, I would not advise upgrading. Let the hackintosh community work for a few months on this before considering an upgrade. Mojave works great!
upgrade your clover and kext. I have updated to catalina 10.15.1 via system update after upgrading clover and kext. check my EFI https://github.com/karnadii/t440p
EDIT: Don't upgrade, there are a lot of problem.
Have tested the upgrade to Catalina and it works fine apart from the sleep / wake-up restart issue.
@jloisel try disable your HDMI Audio. read this https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/339695-fix-kernel-panic-freeze-because-hdmi_dp-applehda-after-wake-in-catalina-with-connectorless-ig-platfrom-id-of-igpu-supported-egpu/?tab=comments#comment-2695258
after disable the HDMI audio the sleep/wake working on my t440p.
I have no t440p on hand anymore, but I don't see any reason it would not. That being said, I would wait at least 10.15.2 or 10.15.3 before upgrading to let Apply iron out some bugs.
Some people on reddit have reported that other thinkpads are working flawlessly on 10.15 Catalina.
