Headphone Jack Issue #58

I seem to be unable to get the headphone jack working, even while using the alc_fix method. The headphones jack seems to work normally, until I wait about 5 minutes after bootup, after which a loud static plays and does not go away until I re plug the headphones. Note, the static does not persist through the internal speakers, but rather only the headphone jack. Bluetooth audio seems to be working fine as well through a pair of air pods.

I am on MacOS 10.15.3, and I am using v 1.4.7 of the AppleALC kext.

Sometimes it happens to me too, in Mojave 10.14.6

try downgrading to mojave and use the proper kexts. i had the same problem: https://github.com/NawalJAhmed/T440p-Hackintosh
