I couldn't make the main branch work on my system with 1.064 firmware - these two small changes seemed to fix the problem for me.

Remove the ping/pong system. It doesn't seem to work in 1.064
Adjust the 250 attribute limit down, I picked something randomly smaller until it worked (50)
