As a minister, I had two 10 year plus relationships with single sisters. As Covid hit, our relationships were limited to phone calls and text. This actually enhanced our relationships, as we started talking about life, concerns, and needs more during this time. As we came out of Covid, we continued to text and talk on phone for more frequent conversations. This added a new dimension to my ministering, I felt more personal and involved in their lives thanks to Covid redirecting my thinking. In the course, I was there when we setup moving crews. Provided sacrament in person. Transported on key events. But, the point being is texting really helped our relationships.

I have focused this evening on Ministering Interviews and trying to better understand what the Lord expects of me. I have watched the training video below presented by members of the Twelve Apostles and General Relief Society Board. I’d like to suggest that each of us view this video before our next presidency meeting, and we take some time in our meeting to discuss the content and setting for our interviews.
