chore: remove Packer function which has been deprecated #320

I believe this function has been deprecated as it's no longer referenced. You can remove it instead of trying to fix anything.

Thank you for the PR, but I think it's better that I do it by myself. If you have other fixes please open another PR and I will look into it.
