release has been bumped to 1.6.1 See http://s3tools.org/download

we could use the --stats option and review the output options. How much log are we keeping (bound with the docker log option and the removal of the container.

the version is defined in the docker file, but at different places. The version number should be defined at only one place with use of variables.
