Joao thank you! Seems that email in your commits is not the same than the one registered on github so you do not appear as contributor on the repo, do you want to change this before merge?
Well spotted.
I don't believe it's worth the effort to rewrite the git history just for that so we can leave has is. Nevertheless I've updated the local git config so any new pull request should have the correct info.

The epel-testing repository is required for autogen which is included on RHEL based distributions from version 7 onwards. As such we do not need to run the yum-epel recipe for those versions thus avoiding some unexpected behaviours.
