Some plugins require plugin Keymap Options to be installed. (NB 7.4, 1.0.8.bnm) #14

I tried to install the plugin (1385457300_org-jmarsault-shortcuts.1.0.8.nbm) on vanilla NetBeans 7.4, but got an error message:

Some plugins require plugin Keymap Options to be installed. The plugin Keymap Options is requested in implementation version 201311191022. The following plugin is affected:       Command-shortcuts

I'm getting the same error. I should note that I am using the 'PHP' version of netbeans 7.4 build 201310111528. The development release may have the Keymap Options plugin the the installer is complaining about.

Did you try to update Netbeans? It seems that the latest stable build of Keymap is 201311191022.

You can easily build your own version :

I tried updating Netbeans but that had no effect (also tried the development PHP version which also gave me the same error).

Questions on your instructions: For the sources you mean the source to: netbeans-command-shortcuts or Keymap Options (where that source is I have no idea)? Next the Important Files - is this a folder that shows up in Netbeans when I import the source? I assume I'll need the full java version of Netbeans instead of the PHP one I am using.

NOTE: Thanks for the great plugin by the way. I find it invaluable to be able to quickly run scripts from within Netbeans.

I too am having this issue. I would love to use this plug in. It looks perfect for my needs. Please let me know what I can do to help get this resolved.

I am having the same issue in NetBeans 8.0 RC1 with Command-shortcuts 1.0.8 :

The plugin Keymap Options is requested in implementation version 201311191022.

I would really like to use your plugin...

Thank you for your quick response. However, the zip you are linking to contains source code, not a compiled plugin. I may compile it myself at some point, but unfortunately I don't have the time right now...

After installing the full version of Netbeans 8.0, I was able to recompile and get the plugin working. However, the release link above did not work for me with the latest release of NetBeans. I got a similar error again with the version of the Keymap Options.

I'm getting the same issue. I tried with all current versions of the NetBeans command shortcuts and still get the message about Keymap Options. I'm running Netbeans 8.0.2.
