uninstalling "Attachments - Plugin Framework" error #36

When uninstalling "Attachments - Plugin Framework" in preparation for installing Attachments 4.0 (beta version), on a J3 site upgraded to J4, I get this error:

An error has occurred.
0 Call to undefined method Joomla\Database\Mysqli\MysqliDriver::query()

Attachments - Plugin Framework should be uninstalled before upgrading to Joomla 4.
