This is certainly something that I need to add. I might recommend temporarily using the @unpublished
, as it's conceptually similar and as it has some flexibility other entrytypes might otherwise lack. I'll need to take a closer look at this problem, but I think it should be something I could add for the next version.
I too would like to see this feature implemented.
In the meantime what would you recommend for this situation?
shameless help-request
@WChargin, Yikes. You commented on an old issue in the middle of my semester, and you asked me about a different issue altogether. I'm sorry I missed the request—but I can also see how I happened to miss it.
Was your question answered sufficiently over on Stackexchange? Gonzalo Medina's approach seems right to me, and it in part explains why I've undefined @misc
entrytypes: Most things are something, and @misc
ends up a messy junk drawer of things that belong elsewhere. I'm still working on creating a good home for interviews, though.
After long last, I've finally implemented this in 2.0, which is readying for release.
There doesn't seem to be a type suited for personal, telephone and similar interviews, nor does there appear to be a way to work around the issue as there is no generic type.
Ideas?
