Central Configuration start all the heater at the same time #401

It can be looks stupid but in some case very important! Modern house has a very low power requested and the pump power to circulate the hot water for heating has a consiredable effect on the total power. And, in most case, the main pump is only moving the hot water to the zones that has their own pump to move the water at a lower temperature. So the idea is to have for all the heater the same cycle duration and start all the switch at the same time in order to minimize the time in which the pump is activated. The idea is, if the cycle duration is 30 mins the heater will alway start at minute 5 and 35 only if the poweron is >0 for the time amount calculated. In this way the power off time become no so important....

This is exactly the inverse of the feature embedded in VTherm (for electrical heater, the algorithm aims to avoid starting all heater at the same time) and is contradictory with a correct regulation (each zone should be independant).

I clearly understand your point, but I will not do that. I have to keep the integration as much simpler as possible else it will be unmaintainable and not understable for users. This is already sometimes very complex.

Clear I understand your view, that was an idea that can work in some case, I can live without that keeping using the Vtherm. Thanks @jmcollin78 for your work, if you need italian translation for the following let me know, if you give me english string I can help: 2024-03-02 15:42:28.340 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.user.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.340 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.type.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.tpi.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.presets.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.window.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.motion.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.power.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.presence.title failed 2024-03-02 15:42:28.341 ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.translation] Validation of translation placeholders for localized (it) string component.versatile_thermostat.options.step.advanced.title failed 202

Hello @diegoflyer ,

I already have sometime some Italian that helps me in translation. The best way is to contribute via a Pull Request. It is very easy to integrate. BUT : wait because, I'm on the way to devlelop a major release with new string to translate.

Thank you for your proposal !
