Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Cannot set the termostat to Cool (in fact anything else not working either) once AC mode is enabled in configuration settings. Once I manually change the Mode to Cool (from OFF) it immediately turns OFF. On the other hand if AC mode is not enabled in configuration settings thermostat does not switch off once the target temperature is achieved. Here is the log from error:

Hello @kuba1975 , when you post your configuration please use the 'code' formatter, else it is unreadable

To try to help with your issue can you please see what happens on the climate.145135534992923_climate when it receive the Cool mode ? Does it switch to cool mode ? Does its internal state switch to cool also ?

VTherm over climate use the underlying climate state to set it's state. So if the underlying doesn't switch to cool or switch off for whatever reason the VTherm state will be off.

You can see this with the debug tool:

find your underlying climate entity, click the 'cool' on the VTherm thermostat and see what happens on the underlying climate. It should have its state change to cool.

Hi @jmcollin78, thanks for prompt response.

Once I change the mode in VTherm - climate.145135534992923_climate (Sypialnia) does not do anything either. Actually you can see that snow flake symbol turns on and off with the blink of an eye in both cards.

Once I change anything to climate.145135534992923_climate itself (without VTherm) it works as intended.

For issue https://github.com/jmcollin78/versatile_thermostat/issues/99 I have made a beta release. Because your issue seems to be related with a similar case, it is possible that the beta release https://github.com/jmcollin78/versatile_thermostat/releases/tag/3.3.6.beta1 fixes the issue.

Can you please have a try with this beta release ?

EDIT: your logs are on a unique line and then I can't exploit them.

EDIT2: this messages seems to show that VTherm is in HVACMode cool and is not OFF:

So for me the VTherm is in cool mode. I'm not sure to understand your problem

Helllo @jmcollin78 No, sorry but It did not help, when I turn the cooling on immediately AC is turned off. I have also noticed that the program automatically changes the FAN mode to Auto. No matter what I chose from the list, seconds later it is being switched to Auto. This is regardless the state Thermostat is in. many thanks for trying though...
