Specifying lists of files to include in an archive, exclude from an
archive, or skip compression of, can be problematic if these lists are
large as currently they have to go on the command line.

Options which match the functionality of tar's --files-from &
--exclude-from would be useful, plus an option to allow the same for
compression.
